Neo Botanical Art

Plants are the only motifs in the photographs I take.Unsightly vegetables that could not be shipped, leaves picked up in parks and roadsides, dried grass and nuts picked up on the southern islands.

They areNo matter what the situation, there is a dignified and powerful life force.

And the aged and dead plants are full of "beauty as living things" just like humans, and I am fascinated by them.

For me, making photographs is the same as making clothes.OwnWe repeat the work of putting on and sewing according to the size, aiming for clothes that are comfortable to wear.The ​ photo looks like that.

The only motifs in my photographic work are plants.

Unshapely vegetables that could not be shipped, leaves picked up in parks or by the side of the road, dead grass and nuts picked up on southern islands.

Whatever their condition, they have a dignified and powerful life force.

And the plants that have died of old age are full of beauty as living creatures, just like human beings, and fascinate me.

For me, creating photographic works is like making clothes.

I try to make clothes that are comfortable to wear by repeatedly fitting them to my size and sewing them.Photography is like that.
